Removing the additional heater fan resistor

Disconnect «negative» battery wire. We disconnect the fan casing from the heater radiator casing, remove the fan guide casing (see Removing the heater fan).

For clarity, the operations for dismantling the additional resistor of the heater fan are performed on the fan casing removed from the vehicle.



Disconnect the wire ends from the terminals of the additional resistor.



We hook it with a screwdriver and remove the two spring washers securing the additional resistor housing to the fan casing.



We take out an additional resistor from the fan shroud.

We assemble in the reverse order.
