Removing the steering wheel

Disconnect «negative» battery wire.



Using a slotted screwdriver, pry off the decorative trim of the horn switch cover..



...and take it off.



head «at 24» Loosen the steering wheel nut.



Shaking, pull towards you and remove the steering wheel.

If the steering wheel sits very tightly on the splines of the upper shaft, then we pull the wheel towards ourselves,..



... striking the end of the shaft through a soft metal drift.
