Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the instrument panel shield to the instrument panel itself.
By pulling the top of the shield towards you,..
…remove it.
Two latches are located at the top corners of the shield.
key «on 10» unscrew the two high plastic nuts securing the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
We remove the instrument cluster from the panel and unscrew the union nut of the flexible shaft of the speedometer drive (see Removing the flexible speedometer drive shaft).
We disconnect two blocks of wires: left - white, right - red.
We remove the instrument cluster.
On the removed instrument cluster, we replace:
test lamp by turning the cartridge counterclockwise and removing it (The photo shows a battery charge indicator lamp),…
... the instrument panel illumination lamp.
Install the lamps and instrument cluster in reverse order.
