The idle speed regulator can only be removed after the throttle assembly has been removed.
Removing the throttle body (see Removing the throttle assembly).
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the regulator to the throttle assembly.
Remove the idle speed controller.
The connection is sealed with a rubber ring.
Install the idle speed controller in reverse order.
With a new regulator, we check the distance between the end of the valve needle and the mounting flange with a caliper: it should be no more than 23 mm.
This is necessary in order not to damage the regulator during installation - the regulator needle should not rest against the saddle of the throttle assembly.
Before installing the regulator, we clean the valve seat, air channel and the surface under the regulator sealing ring in the throttle assembly.
Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil. The tightening torque of the regulator fastening screws is 3-4 Nm.
