Disconnect the windshield washer tube from the tee on the hood. Holding the hood 4 (see fig. 173) unscrew the four bolts securing the hood to the hinges 5 and remove the hood from the body.
The hood is installed in reverse order. Before the final tightening of the bolts 2, its position is adjusted so that it is located in the body opening with the same gaps as the wings, and also does not have a protrusion or retraction of the front surface. If, due to the enlarged holes in the hood for bolts 2, it is not possible to find the desired position, adjust the position of the hood in the opening by bending the hinges 5 or changing the height position of the buffers 3.
In cases of unreliable locking of the hood with a lock or difficulties in opening and closing the hood, adjust the position of the lock. They outline the contours of the lock body, loosen the fastening nuts and move the lock to the desired position. After checking the operation of the lock, tighten the fastening nuts.
