The procedure for disassembling the shock absorber differs slightly from the sequence for disassembling the front suspension strut, namely:
- pulling the shock absorber rod to the stop, unscrew the nut 19 (see fig. 112) tank with the key A.57034/R, remove the working cylinder 12 with the rod 17 and its parts from the tank. Release the reservoir from the vise and drain the liquid from it;
- key 67.7824.9513-005 remove the guide sleeve 25 from the working cylinder. The piston 7 with the rod is removed from the cylinder and the liquid is drained from the cylinder;
- having installed the compression valve in the mandrel from the set 67.7824.9518, clamp it in a vice and slightly shake the cylinder by hand until the compression valve is separated from the cylinder;
- putting the piston rod into the jaws, clamp it in a vise and unscrew the nut 1 of the recoil valve. Remove piston 7 with valves (bypass and recoil), guide bushing 25, stuffing box 23 of the rod, clip 22 of the stuffing box and other details;
- using the techniques described when disassembling the front suspension strut, disassemble the compression valve and remove all parts from the stem.
The assembly of the shock absorber is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, taking into account the following:
- after assembling the compression valve, make sure that the plate 28 and valve disks have free play;
- clip 26 is pressed onto the valve body with a tubular mandrel 0 28 mm;
- the compression valve is pressed into the cylinder with a mandrel 67.7824.9513-004;
- to facilitate the assembly of parts located on the rod, use the guide 67.7824.9513-003;
- the nut 1 of the recoil valve is tightened with a torque of 10-15 Nm; nut 19 of the tank is tightened with a wrench 67.7824.9513-002 (tightening torque 70 - 90 Nm).
