The 6ST-36A battery consists of six 2 V cells connected in series. They are placed in a common translucent polypropylene case, divided by partitions into six sections.
The body cover is also made of polypropylene and welded to the body, forming together with it a non-separable monoblock.
The grids of the battery plates are cast from a lead alloy with a low antimony content. This made it possible to reduce the self-discharge of the battery in operation and slow down the process of water loss due to electrolyte electrolysis. As a result, the car's mileage between the next battery maintenance has increased.
