Warning. Every 30,000 km, balance the wheels and adjust the angles of the front wheels. To do this, contact a specialized workshop.
Warnings:
- The tires used on the car are 135/80 R12.
- Air pressure in the tires of the front and rear wheels - 0.18 MPa (1.8 kgf/cm2).
- The difference between the air pressure in the tires of any wheels is 0.2-0.3 kgf / cm2 may impair the handling characteristics, smoothness of the vehicle and lead to skidding or drifting when braking. Due to the reduced pressure in the tires, the tread wears out faster and more fuel is consumed.
- Carry out all wheel repair work in specialized workshops. Check that the wheel is balanced after repair. Using tires with worn tread can lead to an accident.
Protective cap with a key for tightening the spool.
In order to avoid contamination of the spools, do not operate the vehicle without protective caps. If the caps have been lost, be sure to install new ones.
Recommendations:
- We recommend using a foot pump with a built-in pressure gauge.
- In order for the tires to wear evenly, rearrange the wheels every 10,000 km in accordance with the diagram.
Wheel swap diagram.
Remove (or turn away) protective cap from the tire valve.
Check tire pressure. To do this, connect a pressure gauge to the valve and press the spool.
If the pressure is less than required, connect the tip of the pump hose to the valve and pump air, controlling the pressure on the pressure gauge on the pump.
If the pressure is more than required, press the special protrusion of the pressure gauge on the spool and release the air from the tire. Measure the pressure again with a pressure gauge. By repeating these operations, bring the pressure in the tire to normal.
If you notice that the air pressure in the tire is constantly dropping, try tightening the spool with a cap with a wrench.
To check the tightness of the spool, park the car so that the valve is on top, and immerse the valve in a container of water or soapy water. If air bubbles appear, replace the spool.
Measure the remaining tread depth with a caliper. If the tread depth is 1.6 mm or less, replace the tire.
Check wheel nuts for tightness and retighten if necessary (tightening torque see annex 1).
