Disassembly
Remove the muffler exhaust pipe with bracket. Loosen the starter bolt and nut 2 (pic. 29) to the clutch housing and remove the starter. Remove brackets 6 (see fig. 4) and 4 with the left and rear power unit suspension mounts.
Remove bottom cover 6 (see fig. 29) clutch housing by unscrewing the mounting bolts. Carefully disconnect gearbox 3 from engine 1, being careful not to rest the gearbox input shaft on the petals of the clutch pressure spring. The casing 4 of the clutch with the driven disk 5 is disconnected from the flywheel by unscrewing the mounting bolts.
Assembly
Install the clutch cover with the driven disk on the flywheel along three centering pins, center it with a mandrel 67. 7853.9597 (see fig. 76) and secure the clutch cover with bolts. The driven disk has a protruding part of the hub towards the pressure disk.
Apply a layer of lubricant LSTs-15 or litol-24 on the splined end of the input shaft of the gearbox and CV joint lubricant-4 on the outer surface of the guide bushing of the clutch release bearing. Connect the gearbox to the engine without resting the input shaft on the petals of the clutch pressure spring. Bolt the gearbox to the engine.
Install the lower cover of the clutch housing and secure it with bolts.
Lubricate with engine oil the front bushing of the starter armature shaft located in the clutch housing. Install and secure the starter and two brackets with supports for the left and rear suspension of the power unit. Install and secure the exhaust pipe of the mufflers with the bracket.
