Removal and installation of the air filter

To remove the air filter, loosen the clamps and remove the upper exhaust hose 9 from the filter nozzles (pic. 27) and corrugated hose 11. Unscrew the nuts securing the filter housing 2 to the cylinder head studs and the carburetor mounting nut, under which the filter mounting bracket is located. Remove the air filter assembly and close the carburetor inlets with a plug. If it is necessary to replace the filter element 4, it is only necessary to unscrew the nut 7, press the latches and remove the cover 6 of the air filter.



Install the filter in reverse order.
