To remove the oil pump, place the car on a lift and brake with a parking brake. Remove the windshield washer reservoir, wire from the terminal «minus» battery and ignition coil assembly with high voltage wires. Unscrew the screws and remove the engine mudguard. Loosen the alternator fastening nuts, loosen the tension of the alternator drive belt and remove it. Engage direct gear and turn the front wheels to the right at the steering wheel until they stop. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the alternator drive pulley from the crankshaft. Remove the front protective cover of the camshaft drive belt, turn off the gear, wrap the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt and, turning the crankshaft by the bolt, align the flywheel mark with the zero mark of the clutch housing viewing window scale. In this case, the mark on the camshaft pulley must match the mark on the rear cover, and the mark on the crankshaft toothed pulley must match the mark on the oil pump housing. Loosen the nut of the tension roller and remove the camshaft drive belt, remove the crankshaft toothed pulley. Raise the car on a lift and drain the oil from the crankcase into a container. The fastening screws are unscrewed and the oil sump, oil pump, oil receiver are removed sequentially. When removing the oil pump, be careful not to damage the gasket.
Install the oil pump in reverse order (see sect. «Camshaft drive belt»).
