Remove the wheel cylinder (see subsection 7.2.2.).
Wheel cylinder parts can be replaced without removing the cylinder from the vehicle.
1. Remove the protective caps from both sides of the cylinder.
2. Remove both pistons from the cylinder.
3. Pushing the spring out of the piston...
4.... remove the sealing ring on one side.
5. Remove the O-ring from the other side in the same way.
6. Remove the cup spring from the cylinder.
7. Remove cups from spring.
8. Turn out the valve of release of air.
9. Remove the o-ring from the valve.
10. Thoroughly remove dirt and flush all parts of the wheel cylinder with clean brake fluid.
11. Examine the mirror of the cylinder...
12....and a cylinder piston. If there are deep scratches, scratches, roughness, etc. replace the piston or cylinder assembly. Small risks can be removed by grinding.
13. Replace a broken, cracked, or loose spring. The length of the spring in the free state should be 34 mm, and under load (35±2) H or (3,5±0,2) kgf - 17.8 mm.
14. Regardless of the condition of the O-rings, replace them with new ones.
15. Replace cracked, torn or loose cylinder caps.
16. Replace a cracked, torn, or loose valve o-ring, or a valve with damaged threads.
17. Assemble the cylinder in the reverse order of disassembly, lubricating all parts with brake fluid. In this case, the slots for the pads in the pistons must be vertical.
18. Check piston movement. It should be smooth, without jamming.
