When turning the key from position "I" into position "II" to restart the engine, the starter circuit is interlocked. In this case, the engine can only be started by returning the key to the position "0", and then turning to position "II".
If electrical equipment does not work (with the serviceability of these devices and their circuits) or the steering wheel is not blocked by the anti-theft device, replace the contact group or ignition switch assembly.
To check the ignition switch, sequentially set the key to the positions at which the circuits indicated in Table 2 should be closed.
