You will need a key "on 10".
Disconnect the wire from the terminal "–" battery.
Remove the air filter.
1. Mark the position of the spark torque sensor relative to the accessory drive housing.
2. Press the spring clip on the block with a screwdriver and disconnect the block with wires from the sensor output.
3. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum regulator.
4. Loosen the three nuts securing the spark torque sensor.
5. Please note: special washers are installed under the nuts.
6. Remove the spark torque sensor.
7. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal. Note that the lugs on the sensor sleeve only connect to the camshaft stub in one position because the slots on the camshaft are off-center.
8. Before tightening the fastening nuts, turn the sensor so that the marks made before removing it match. Check and, if necessary, adjust the ignition timing.
