General information about the vehicle

"Oka" - a light front-wheel drive car with a transverse power unit, designed for use on paved roads. The car is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of -40 to +45°C.

Car family "Oka" includes two basic models: VAZ-1111 and VAZ-11113, which differ in the engines installed on them. The body of the car is all-metal, load-bearing, three-door, hatchback type. The third door is located in the rear of the body and is designed for loading luggage. The rear seat can be folded down for transporting large and long loads, thereby increasing the volume of the luggage compartment.

Engines - two-cylinder carburetor: VAZ-1111 - a working volume of 0.65 liters and VAZ-11113 - a working volume of 0.75 liters. The vehicle is equipped with a dual-circuit hydraulic service brake system, which increases its safety. The braking system is divided into circuits diagonally. The front brakes are disc, the rear are drum. Thanks to the front-wheel drive layout, the car has improved handling characteristics compared to rear-wheel drive models, especially when cornering and on slippery roads.

Currently, the car is produced by the Kama and Serpukhov automobile plants.
