Location of plug 1 oil filler neck and pointer 2 oil level (in the middle of the cylinder block behind the cooling system radiator).
You will need:
- engine oil
- funnel
- clean rag
Before starting work: Park the vehicle on a level, level ground.
Attention! Check the oil level on a cold engine. If you need to check the level after a ride, wait 5-10 minutes after stopping the engine to allow the oil to drain into the sump.
Attention! Fill the engine with the oils specified in Appendix 2. Add oil to the crankcase of the brand that was filled earlier.
Attention! The oil level in the crankcase must not exceed the mark "MAX", otherwise it will lead to increased oil consumption and leakage from the engine through gaskets and seals.
1. Remove the oil level gauge...
2....wipe it with a clean cloth and reinsert it.
3. Take out the pointer. The oil film level must be between the marks "MIN" And "MAX". If the oil level approaches the mark "MIN" or below it, add oil.
4. Turn the oil filler cap about 90°counterclockwise and remove it.
5. Install a funnel in the neck and pour oil into the engine, controlling the oil level using the pointer. Before removing the pointer, wait 2-3 minutes to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.
6. Once the oil level has reached the required level, close the filler cap by turning it 90°clockwise.
