If after repeated attempts you were unable to start the engine, remove the spark plugs before starting it from the battery of another vehicle. Crank the engine several times with the starter to purge the gasoline from the cylinders. Inspect spark plugs: Dry wet spark plugs or replace with new ones.
Special wires for starting the engine from an external current source
1. Position the vehicles so that their batteries are as close together as possible and the length of the wires is long enough. Connect the red wire to the terminal "+" charged battery (on "donor car").
2. Connect the other end of the red wire to the terminal " " battery in your car.
3. Connect the black wire to the terminal "–" charged battery (on "donor car").
4. Connect the other end of the black wire to the terminal "–" battery in your car.
5. Start the engine "donor car". Try starting your car's engine. If the engine does not start, wait a few minutes and try starting again. After the engine has started, let it idle for a few minutes.
6. Stop the engine "donor car" and disconnect the wires in the reverse order of connection.
Starting the engine with a charger
You will need: charger.
Attention! The design of charging and starting devices may be different, so strictly follow the rules for using a particular device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Attention! If the battery is completely discharged, try to recharge it using the charger (see subsection 3.38.).
7. Move the charger to the position "START" in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Connect the wires of the charger-starter to the battery terminals, observing the polarity.
9. Turn on the charger.
10. Start the engine. If the engine starts, first turn off the charger and starter, then disconnect its wires from the battery terminals.
