Safety requirements
Exhaust gases are poisonous! When starting the engine in a garage or other area, ensure good ventilation or open the gate.
When starting repair or maintenance of electrical equipment, be sure to first disconnect the wire from the terminal "—" battery.
Do not touch the ignition system components while the engine is running - this is dangerous!
When coasting, do not turn off the ignition - when you turn the steering wheel, the anti-theft device in the ignition lock will work, blocking the steering column shaft. Your car will become uncontrollable and could cause an accident!
Leaded gasoline is poisonous and some fluids (brake and cooling) toxic, so take precautions when refueling and servicing your vehicle. Avoid contact with leaded gasoline on the skin of the hands and face, especially in the mouth, as well as on clothing and upholstery.
Do not operate the engine with the low oil pressure lamp on. She must briefly (no more than 2 s) light up only when the engine is started.
Before jacking up the vehicle, be sure to place chocks under the wheels on the opposite side, and before raising the front of the vehicle, apply the parking brake.
Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Be sure to place stands under the car. Use commercially manufactured supports.
Do not smoke or use open flames when refueling or servicing the vehicle. Bear "at hand" a serviceable fire extinguisher and a first aid kit with suitable drugs.
It is forbidden to check the operation of the generator by disconnecting the wires from the battery, as well as the operability of the ignition system "for a spark".
Operating recommendations
Maintenance and repair of the car during the warranty period should be carried out only at service stations with a mandatory note on the work in the service book coupons, otherwise you will lose the warranty for the car.
When the starter is engaged, the gearshift lever must be in the neutral position.
Warm up the engine at idle before driving, as running a cold engine at high engine speeds will shorten engine life.
It is forbidden to start the movement of the car from a place "on the starter". Start moving only in first gear with the parking brake fully released, gently releasing the clutch pedal.
Do not drive on poor quality roads at high speeds, as sharp impacts lead to deformation of the undercarriage and vehicle body components.
Do not exceed the carrying capacity specified in the technical specification of the vehicle. Overloading leads to increased wear of tires and suspension parts, as well as loss of vehicle directional stability.
Check tire pressure regularly. Low pressure contributes to intensive tire wear. Tire pressure difference 0.2–0.3 kgf/cm2 significantly impairs vehicle handling.
For refueling, use fuels and lubricants and operating fluids recommended by the manufacturer.
Regularly check the condition of the protective covers of the steering rack, constant velocity joints (SHRUS), ball bearings, steering rod joints. Replace damaged covers, as water and dirt will quickly disable the mechanisms.
Regularly check the condition of the battery terminals and the fastening of the wires on them. Loose wires or oxidized terminals can damage the car's electronics.
