Explanation. The manual priming lever performs its function only at a certain position of the cam on the camshaft. Therefore, if fuel is not flowing through the pump, turn the crankshaft ½ - ¾ turn and again check the fuel supply from the pump hand drive.
1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the pump discharge fitting.
2. While pumping the manual priming lever rod, check if fuel is supplied through the pump (see explanation). If fuel does not come out of the nozzle...
3.... loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the suction pipe of the pump.
4. By closing the suction pipe with your finger and pumping the rod of the manual fuel pumping lever, check if there is a vacuum at the inlet of this pipe. If there is no vacuum, then the pump is faulty. Otherwise, the fuel lines are most likely clogged or damaged.
