The clutch cable is secured with a retaining plate on the clutch pedal.
1. Under the instrument panel, use a screwdriver to pry off the retaining plate for attaching the cable tip to the pedals and...
2....remove the lock plate.
3. Remove the cable end from the clutch pedal.
4. Remove the plastic cable end sleeve from the clutch pedal. Check the condition of the bushing. Replace worn or damaged bushing.
5. In the engine compartment, unscrew the locknut and the adjusting nut of the clutch drive leash to a position that allows you to remove the leash from the clutch release fork.
6. Disconnect the latch from the leash by prying it with a screwdriver.
7. Remove the leash along with the cable from the clutch release fork.
8. Remove the protective cap from the front lug of the cable sheath and slide it to the left along the cable.
9. Loosen the nut on the front end of the cable sheath while holding the end with a wrench.
10. Move the cable sheath to the right, remove it from the bracket on the rear cover of the gearbox and...
11.... after passing the cable through the slot in the bracket, remove it from the bracket.
12. Unscrew the two nuts securing the flange of the rear lug of the clutch cable sheath, remove the two spring washers installed under the nuts.
13. Remove the cable holder from the hole in the body (the holder is located on the mudguard of the body under the pressure regulator), pulling the cable near the holder with your hand, and remove the clutch cable by pulling it into the engine compartment.
14. Install the clutch cable in the reverse order of removal. Adjust clutch pedal full travel (see subsection 11.2.7.).
