3. Remove the cable end from the clutch pedal.
4. Remove the plastic cable end sleeve from the clutch pedal. Check the condition of the bushing. Replace worn or damaged bushing.
5. Pry off the brake pedal return spring with a screwdriver and...
6....take it off.
7. Pry off the locking plate of the brake booster rod pin with a screwdriver and...
8....take it off.
9. Press a screwdriver on the finger of the vacuum booster rod and...
10....remove your finger.
11. Use a screwdriver to pry off the lock plate of the axle of the clutch and brake pedals and...
12....take it off.
13. Disconnect the clutch pedal return spring and remove the clutch and brake pedal axle together with the clutch pedal.
14. Loosen the nut and locknut securing the brake light switch and remove the switch.
15. Move the brake light switch aside and remove the brake pedal together with the spacer.
16. Remove the bushing from the brake pedal socket. If the bushing cannot be removed by hand, pry it out with a screwdriver.
17. Remove the spacer from the brake pedal.
18. Remove the second bushing from the brake pedal socket.
19. If it is necessary to replace the pedal pad, fold back the collar of the pad from one corner and...
20....remove the trim.
21. Remove the clutch pedal return spring.
22. Remove the axle from the clutch pedal.
23. Remove the bushing from the clutch pedal socket.
24. Remove the second bushing from the clutch pedal socket.
25. Install the new bushings in the pedal sockets and the pedals on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal, after lubricating them with grease.
26. Check and, if necessary, adjust the travel of the clutch and brake pedals.
